Refund and Return Policy

Version 1.1 · Updated 2026-10-20

Plans change. You can cancel a class free of charge up to 12 hours before it starts, and this page explains exactly what comes back, how, and when — for classes, for packs, and for the times we have to cancel on you.

1. What this policy covers

We sell classes at our studio — a service, not goods. There is nothing to post back, so there is no returns procedure in the usual sense: what matters here is when a class can be cancelled, and what happens to the money or the credit.

2. Free cancellation, up to 12 hours before

Cancel more than 12 hours before the class starts and there is nothing to pay. You can cancel yourself on your bookings page — the same page the confirmation links to — or by writing to us on WhatsApp. The time that counts is when your cancellation reaches us, not when you decided.

  • Booked with a pack credit: the credit goes straight back to your account. It keeps the expiry date of the pack it came from, so a returned credit does not extend the pack.
  • Booked and paid by card as a single class: you choose — the money back to the card you paid with, or the class as a credit to use later. If you do not say which, we return it to the card.

3. Inside the 12 hours, and no-shows

Inside the last 12 hours the place is yours and we can no longer offer it to anyone else, so the class is charged in full: a credit booking spends the credit, and a card payment is not refunded. Not arriving for a class you booked is treated the same way.

That is the rule, not a verdict. If something serious happened — an injury, an illness, a family emergency — tell us. We would rather hear from you than hold you to a timetable.

4. When the studio cancels

If we cancel a class — too few participants, an instructor's illness, a problem with the room or the rigging — you are never out of pocket. You choose between the credit back on your account and the money back to your card, whichever you prefer, and we tell you as early as we can.

The same applies if something outside anyone's control stops a class going ahead.

5. Class packs

  • An unused pack — one where no class has yet been booked with it — can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase. Just ask.
  • Once a pack has been used, we do not refund the remaining credits as a matter of course, because the pack price is a discount on the whole pack rather than on the classes taken. Ask us anyway if your situation changed — a long injury, a move abroad — and we will find something fair.
  • Credits expire with the pack, 28 or 35 days after purchase depending on the pack. Expired credits are not refunded and are not extended, unless the studio was the reason the classes could not be taken.
  • A pack bought for a child is refunded on the same terms, to the person who paid.

6. How a refund is paid

A card payment is refunded to the same card that paid, through ACBA Bank. We cannot refund a card payment in cash, and we cannot send it to a different card or account — that is a rule of the card payment systems, not our preference.

  • We send an approved refund to the bank within 3 business days of agreeing it.
  • How long it then takes to appear on your card is up to the bank that issued it — usually within 10 business days.
  • Refunds are made in Armenian drams, for the amount actually charged. If your card is in another currency, your bank's exchange rate on the day of the refund may make the returned amount differ slightly from what you paid; that difference is not something we can control.
  • A credit returned to your account, rather than money returned to your card, is immediate.

7. How to ask for a refund

Write to us on WhatsApp, call, or send an email — whichever is easiest. To find your payment quickly, tell us the phone number you booked with and, if you have it, the order number from your confirmation. Say whether you would prefer the money or a credit.

We answer refund requests as we answer everything else: from a person, usually the same day. Every refund we make is recorded with its reason, so if you ever need to ask us what happened to a payment, there is an answer.

8. If you think a payment is wrong

Come to us first — a duplicate charge or a payment for a class that never happened is something we can see in our own records and put right quickly. You also keep every right you have as a consumer under the law of the Republic of Armenia, and the right to dispute a card payment with the bank that issued your card. Nothing in this policy takes those away.
